Bengaluru: Amadeus, a leading global technology provider for the travel industry, has deepened its partnership with the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance to support the global expansion of the Alliance’s impactful Employability Program.
This strategic collaboration underscores Amadeus’ commitment to advancing digital inclusion and youth employability under its Community Impact initiative.
Designed to empower underprivileged youth with job-ready skills in the hospitality sector, the Employability Program currently operates in India, Egypt, and Sri Lanka, with more than 6,000 young people already trained and placed.

With Amadeus now on board as a long-term global partner, the program will scale across more countries, with expanded access and deeper community engagement.
The first joint pilot project was launched in India in April 2025, in association with NGO Kherwadi, targeting 200 disadvantaged youth across Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi. The initiative is supported by a network of local and global hospitality brands, providing students with industry exposure and employment opportunities.
Amadeus to Provide Financial Backing
As part of its contribution, Amadeus will provide financial backing, along with employee volunteering, mentoring, and software support for hospitality training. The collaborative model is key to the program’s success, combining efforts from Alliance members, hotels, food and beverage companies, training institutions, and nonprofits to break employment barriers – particularly for women.
“This partnership will serve as a model for the industry, showing how hospitality can break down employment barriers and drive meaningful social change,” said Glenn Mandziuk, CEO, World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance.
“At Amadeus, we see sustainable hospitality as a responsibility to people, places, and the planet. This partnership reflects our mission to create lasting social impact wherever we operate,” added Mani Ganeshan, SVP, Head of APAC Engineering and Amadeus Labs.
