Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) has announced 29 new commercial deployment agreements to fast-track the commercialisation of autonomous mobility technologies, unveiled during the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Summit, part of the inaugural Abu Dhabi Autonomous Week (ADAW).
In a landmark move for global smart transport, the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) partnered with leading innovators including K2, LODD Autonomous (LODD), Autologix, Sinaha, TractEasy, MLG, and Space42.
These collaborations establish Abu Dhabi as one of the first cities in the world to launch an integrated, multi-modal regulatory and infrastructure ecosystem for autonomous operations.

The agreements span key sectors, including e-commerce, healthcare, and industrial logistics, featuring collaborations with Integrated Transport Centre (AD Mobility), Talabat, Noon, Aramex, and PureLab.
Real-world operations of autonomous air and ground vehicles have already begun across the emirate, driven by the regulatory framework of the Smart and Autonomous Systems Council (SASC).
This integrated approach covers the entire mobility spectrum—air, land, and logistics—redefining how consumers and businesses move goods efficiently, safely, and sustainably.
Abu Dhabi Investment Office: Driving Sustainable and Efficient Logistics Innovation
Badr Al-Olama, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, said: “Abu Dhabi is leading the transformation in smart mobility and logistics, with these 29 commercial pilot agreements marking a decisive step toward a future where autonomous technologies set new standards for transportation and trade.
Anchored by the Smart and Autonomous Vehicle Industries (SAVI) cluster, these agreements translate decades of R&D into tangible commercial deployment.”
He added that the initiative, aligned with the SASC’s coordinated vision for regulation, infrastructure, and industry growth, reinforces Abu Dhabi’s status as a destination where emerging technologies can accelerate, scale, and create global impact.
