Mumbai: Bank of Baroda has announced the launch of an innovative eRUPI P2P Gifting feature on its bob इ Pay UPI app.
Developed in partnership with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), this industry-first solution allows users to send personalised, prepaid digital vouchers as gifts via UPI.
The newly launched eRUPI P2P Gifting feature enables customers to gift secure and purpose-specific digital vouchers to family, friends, or beneficiaries.
Starting with the ‘Food’ category and with more categories to follow, these vouchers can be seamlessly redeemed at UPI-enabled merchant outlets, making them a convenient and meaningful gifting option.

Customers can generate vouchers ranging from ₹1 to ₹10,000. These vouchers are non-transferable, and if not redeemed within the validity period, the voucher amount is automatically refunded to the sender. There is no restriction on the number of vouchers issued, provided transactions remain within the daily UPI limits.
