Skoda Auto India Plans Major Expansion: New Sedans, 350 Touchpoints by 2025

Mumbai: As Škoda Auto celebrates 130 years globally and 25 years of its journey in India, the company has laid out a bold, future-focused growth strategy to transform Skoda Auto India into a customer-first, high-growth automotive brand in the region.

The ambitious roadmap for 2025 includes product expansion, rapid network growth, new business avenues, and service enhancements – all aimed at delivering a seamless ownership experience.

Key Pillars of Skoda Auto India’s 2025 Vision:
  • Product Offensive with SUVs and Sedans: Skoda Auto India is doubling down on its product offerings, highlighting an “SUV for Everyone” strategy. With the Kushaq, Kodiaq, and Kylaq leading the SUV portfolio and the Slavia strengthening its sedan heritage, the company is set to introduce a new global icon in the sedan category.
  • Aggressive Network Expansion: Škoda aims to extend its reach from 165 to 200+ cities, growing its customer touchpoints from the current 290 to 350 by end of 2025. The focus is on penetrating tier II and tier III cities, aligning with its goal to bring the brand closer to customers across India.
  • Exploring New Business Verticals: In addition to private customers, Skoda Auto India will strengthen its certified pre-owned business, government and fleet sales, and corporate and rural market outreach. These channels are expected to contribute significantly to the brand’s 2025 momentum.
  • Customer-Centric Ownership Experience: With initiatives like Škoda SuperCare, customers only pay for routine service after 30,000 km or two years of ownership. Comprehensive warranty packages and peace-of-mind service offerings further reinforce Škoda’s commitment to quality and trust.
