Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Becomes India’s First OEM to Reach 3 Lakh EV Milestone

Mumbai: Electric commercial vehicle manufacturer Mahindra Last Mile Mobility has crossed the landmark of 3 lakh electric vehicles sold, becoming the first OEM in the country to achieve this scale in the commercial EV segment.

The company recorded its latest 1 lakh EV sales within just 12 months, underscoring the growing preference for its electric three- and four-wheeler offerings.

Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Achieves Record Growth in the EV Segment

According to the company, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility has strengthened its leadership position by offering India’s widest portfolio of electric commercial vehicles. The lineup includes the Treo range, Zor Grand, e-Alfa three-wheelers, and the Mahindra ZEO four-wheeler.

These vehicles have collectively logged more than 5 billion kilometres on the road, reducing over 185 kilo metric tonne of CO₂ emissions – equivalent to the environmental benefit of planting more than 4.3 million trees.

MLMML’s sustained focus on last-mile electrification and collaboration with ecosystem partners has played a crucial role in boosting EV adoption across the country.

Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Expands Portfolio and Customer-Centric Initiatives

The company’s rapid growth has been supported by continuous product innovation and upgrades. Recent additions to the portfolio include the Treo Plus sheet metal model, e-Alfa Plus, Zor Grand Range Plus, and the Mahindra ZEO.

After achieving the 2 lakh EV milestone last year, the company launched the UDAY NXT programme to support driver welfare through benefits such as a ₹20 lakh accidental insurance cover and financial counselling.

Marking the 3 lakh milestone, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility has introduced an upgraded NEMO platform – available on iOS, Android, and Web – to help drivers and fleet operators remotely monitor and manage their vehicles.

Key functionalities include multi-vehicle management, geo-tracking, service booking, roadside assistance, and access to charging network locations.

Commenting on the milestone, Suman Mishra, Managing Director and CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, said the achievement reflects strong customer trust. She noted that the company aims to make electric mobility more inclusive, accessible, and livelihood-enabling through innovation-led products and ecosystem support.
