Bangalore: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced a major milestone with cumulative sales of 2 lakh units of the Innova HyCross in India, underscoring the growing popularity of the Innova HyCross and strong customer trust in Toyota’s hybrid technology.

Since its launch in November 2022, the Innova HyCross has consistently gained traction in the Indian market, reinforcing its position as a preferred premium MPV.

The success reflects increasing consumer confidence in self-charging hybrid technology and aligns with Toyota’s multi-pathway approach to sustainable mobility solutions.

The Innova HyCross combines Toyota’s globally renowned Quality, Durability, and Reliability (QDR) philosophy with modern design and advanced features.

Built on Toyota’s New Global Architecture (TNGA), the Innova HyCross is powered by a 5th Generation Self-Charging Strong Hybrid Electric System, further enhancing its appeal across diverse customer segments.

Equipped with a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder gasoline engine and e-drive sequential shift, the Innova HyCross delivers a power output of 137 kW (186 PS) while maintaining best-in-segment fuel efficiency.

The hybrid system enables it to operate up to 60% of the time in electric (EV) mode, offering an optimal balance of performance and environmental efficiency.

Additionally, select variants of the Innova HyCross powered by a 2.0-litre gasoline engine deliver 129 kW (174 PS), providing flexibility to customers based on their driving preferences.

With prices starting at ₹19.53 lakh (ex-showroom), the Innova HyCross also offers an 8-year self-charging hybrid battery warranty on select variants.

Strengthening its safety credentials, the Innova HyCross has secured a 5-star safety rating under the Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (BNCAP), further reinforcing its standing in the premium MPV segment.

The HyCross is equipped with premium features such as powered Ottoman second-row seats, ventilated front seats, dual-zone air conditioning, Toyota Safety Sense, over 65 connected features, and a power back door.
