Pune: EKA Mobility has reported a significant milestone, registering a 5X year-on-year volume growth in FY 2025–26. The company sold 1,143 units and produced 1,344 electric commercial vehicles during the year, underscoring strong market traction for EKA Mobility across segments.
The growth of EKA Mobility has been driven by its diversified electric vehicle portfolio and strategic expansion into new segments.
During FY26, EKA Mobility entered the medium and heavy commercial vehicle (M&HCV) truck segment, complementing its existing electric bus and small commercial vehicle (SCV) offerings.
The company also holds the distinction of being a Champion OEM under the Auto PLI Scheme and has achieved certification across multiple platforms, strengthening its position in India’s EV ecosystem.

- Electric Bus Leadership
EKA Mobility secured major wins under government initiatives such as PM e-Bus Sewa and PM E-DRIVE. The company deployed electric buses across more than 15 states, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, and Delhi.
- SCV Segment Sees Breakout Growth
The SCV segment emerged as a strong growth driver for EKA Mobility, with increasing demand for 3S and 6S passenger vehicles, along with 3W cargo platforms. This surge highlights the growing adoption of electric vehicles in last-mile mobility solutions.
- Electric Trucks: A New Growth Engine
EKA Mobility’s entry into the electric truck segment has opened new avenues in logistics electrification. The expansion into heavy-duty vehicles contributed significantly to the company’s overall growth trajectory.
- Hydrogen Fuel Cell Innovation
The company marked its entry into hydrogen-powered mobility by deploying a 9-metre hydrogen fuel cell bus at Cochin International Airport in collaboration with KPIT Technologies and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited. The company plans to deploy 15 additional hydrogen buses, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable innovation.
