Pune: In a proud moment for rural education, six Pune students from Zilla Parishad primary schools in Lonikand (Haveli) and Koregaon Bhima (Shirur) have been selected to visit NASA in the United States and ISRO in India.
The initiative recognizes the talent of young learners and highlights the growing global exposure of Indian students.

NASA and ISRO Visits Inspire Pune Students
From Lonikand Zilla Parishad Primary School, Shravani Sandeep Magar and Shantanu Shriram Kadam, along with Kasturi Pratap Musmade from Koregaon Bhima, will visit NASA’s international space research facilities.
Meanwhile, Tanvi Jeevan Wadekar, Aarohi Ramchandra Ujagare, and Arya Bhalchandra Kale, also from Lonikand, have been selected to visit ISRO’s research centers in India.
Their achievement was celebrated in the villages with a student honor procession, where local leaders, villagers, and parents joined to felicitate the young achievers and their guiding teachers.

The School Management Committee also extended its appreciation for the dedication of educators who mentored the students.
The recognition not only honors the Pune students’ success but also emphasizes the importance of fostering curiosity in science and space exploration from a young age.
