SEMICON India 2025 to Host 33 Nations and 350 Exhibitors at Yashobhoomi

New Delhi: The fourth edition of SEMICON India 2025, India’s largest semiconductor and electronics exhibition, will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 2, 2025, at Yashobhoomi (India International Convention and Expo Centre), New Delhi.

The landmark event will welcome delegates from 33 nations, more than 50 global CXOs, 350 exhibitors, and over 50 distinguished speakers.

Organized by SEMI and the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), SEMICON India 2025 will bring together government officials, industry experts, academia, and students to discuss semiconductor advancements, supply chain resilience, and global collaboration.

Focus on India’s Growing Semiconductor Ecosystem

SEMICON India 2025 comes at a time when India’s semiconductor industry is experiencing rapid growth under the Semicon India Programme. To date, the Government of India has approved 10 strategic projects covering High-Volume Fabrication Units (Fabs), 3D Heterogeneous Packaging, Compound Semiconductors such as Silicon Carbide (SiC), and Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSATs).

Additionally, over 280 academic institutes and 72 start-ups have been provided access to cutting-edge design tools, while 23 start-ups have secured approval under the Design Linked Incentive (DLI) scheme, driving innovation in applications including CCTV, motor controllers, navigation systems, communication chips, and microprocessors.

Theme: Building the Next Semiconductor Powerhouse

Under the theme “Building the Next Semiconductor Powerhouse”, SEMICON India 2025 will feature six international roundtables, four country pavilions, nine state participations, and attract over 15,000 visitors. Exhibitors will showcase breakthroughs in advanced packaging, fabs, smart manufacturing, AI, supply chain management, sustainability, workforce development, and start-ups.

Speaking ahead of the event, S Krishnan, Secretary, MeitY, said: “SEMICON India 2025 will be South Asia’s largest platform to highlight the semiconductor and electronics ecosystem, with over 350 exhibitors and participation from global leaders.”

SEMICON India 2025 to Host Global Leaders and Industry Experts

This year’s edition will feature top executives and experts from leading companies such as Applied Materials, ASML, IBM, Infineon, KLA, Lam Research, Merck, Micron, PSMC, Rapidus, Sandisk, Siemens, SK Hynix, Tata Electronics, and Tokyo Electron.

The agenda includes high-profile keynotes, panel discussions, fireside chats, paper presentations, and a dedicated Workforce Development Pavilion to showcase career opportunities in microelectronics.

Amitesh Kumar Sinha, Additional Secretary, MeitY and CEO, ISM, emphasized: “SEMICON India 2025 represents collaboration, innovation, and India’s growing role in addressing future challenges.
