Suzlon has joined as the first Gold Member from India, reinforcing its leadership in driving the global clean energy transition.

This pledge is part of Suzlon’s broader decarbonization roadmap, which includes:

  • Carbon Neutrality (Scope 1 & 2 emissions) by 2035
  • Net Zero (Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions) by 2040

Scope 1 emissions include direct emissions from operations, Scope 2 covers indirect emissions from purchased energy, while Scope 3 spans emissions across the value chain—from suppliers to product lifecycle.

JP Chalasani, CEO of Suzlon Group, said: “Joining RE100 is a strong affirmation of our belief that true leadership in renewable energy begins with how we manage our own operations. We are not just delivering clean power to the world; we are ensuring that every megawatt we produce is supported by a 100% renewable manufacturing process. This is both a responsibility to the planet and a commitment to future generations.”
