Kolkata: The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, has extended the application deadline for its flagship MeitY TIDE 2.0 program until 25th August 2025.
Implemented in collaboration with IIM Calcutta Innovation Park, the initiative is designed to support ICT-enabled startups working in areas of national importance.
MeitY TIDE 2.0: Strengthening ICT-Enabled Startups
The MeitY TIDE 2.0 program aims to nurture 2,000 technology startups by providing incubation, mentorship, and financial grants.

Startups working on ICT-driven solutions in domains such as healthcare, education, agriculture, financial inclusion, infrastructure, clean energy, environment, and emerging technologies are encouraged to apply.
MeitY TIDE 2.0: Programs at IIM Calcutta Innovation Park
As part of the initiative, IIM Calcutta Innovation Park is offering two specialized tracks for young innovators and entrepreneurs:
- Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR):
- A 12-month incubation program for individuals or teams with an idea/prototype
- Financial grant of ₹4 lakh for product validation and development
- Incubation at IIM Calcutta Innovation Park
- Opportunities to pitch for seed funding upon completion
- Grant Support Program:
- A 12-month incubation program for innovators with a Proof of Concept (PoC)
- Financial grant of ₹7 lakh to build a Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
- Incubation at IIM Calcutta Innovation Park
- Access to pitch for seed funding upon completion
MeitY TIDE 2.0: Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be Indian citizens
- Individuals/teams with an ICT-enabled idea, prototype, or Proof of Concept can apply
- Solutions must address a national priority domain such as healthcare, education, agriculture, clean tech, or financial inclusion
- At least one team member must be committed full-time to the idea
- Applicants cannot combine this program with fellowships or grants from other funding organizations
