Pune: In a transformative move for the gifting and stationery sector, Messe Frankfurt and MEX Exhibitions have announced a strategic merger of their exhibition portfolios, creating a unified platform with a pan-India presence.
The announcement was made during the opening of Gifts World Expo – Delhi 2025, marking a new chapter in the evolution of India’s dynamic trade fair landscape.
Under this alliance, flagship exhibitions like Paperworld India, Corporate Gifts Show, and Gifts World Expo will now operate under an integrated national framework, with events mapped across major metro markets – Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Kolkata.

This consolidation aims to build a scalable ecosystem that caters to region-specific demands while offering national-level opportunities for businesses across the gifting and stationery value chain.
The Mumbai edition of Gifts World Expo in February 2026 will witness the rebranding of the long-standing Corporate Gifts Show, extending the platform’s scope beyond corporate gifting to encompass the entire spectrum of consumer and business gifting.
At the same time, Paperworld India, Messe Frankfurt’s global brand for stationery, office, and school supplies, will debut in New Delhi alongside Gifts World Expo 2026.

Gifting and Stationery Markets: Strong Growth Trajectory
India’s gifting and stationery markets are on a strong growth trajectory. The stationery industry, currently valued at around USD 3.49 billion (Wright’s Research), is projected to grow at a CAGR of 8–10% over the next five years, driven by demand in education, corporate offices, and digital stationery products.
Meanwhile, the Indian gifting market, valued at USD 75.16 billion in 2024 (Retail Research Trends), is expected to reach USD 92.32 billion by 2030, growing at a CAGR of 3.55%.
This strategic alliance between Messe Frankfurt and MEX Exhibitions promises to reshape the future of the gifting and stationery sector by enabling deeper market penetration, improved buyer-seller connections, and enhanced brand visibility across the country.
