Andhra Pradesh Taps NaBFID for Transaction Advisory Services to Develop Amaravati

Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh Government, through the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID) to provide Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) for the planned infrastructure development in Amaravati, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, marking a strategic step toward building financially viable and investment-ready infrastructure in one of India’s most ambitious urban development projects.

Under this collaboration, NaBFID will act as a key advisor, assisting APCRDA in:
  • Designing a long-term financial strategy for Amaravati’s development
  • Evaluating Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models for large-scale infrastructure execution
  • Identifying revenue generation mechanisms and land monetization options
  • Engaging with stakeholders and potential investors to attract infrastructure funding

Rajkiran Rai G, Managing Director of NaBFID, said: “We are proud to collaborate with APCRDA in shaping Amaravati’s urban future. With NaBFID’s deep expertise in infrastructure financing, APCRDA is confident of achieving optimal capital deployment for transformative projects.”
