Mumbai: Bank of India (BOI) has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). This partnership will integrate more than 250 government services onto the BOI Omni Neo App, leveraging the power of the UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) platform.
This collaboration makes Bank of India the first bank in the country to embed UMANG services within a digital banking app, enabling citizens to access a wide range of government services seamlessly through a secure, familiar interface.
These include services related to EPFO, PAN, Passport, Railways, and ESIC, among others.
