Pune: In a significant insight into women’s evolving financial behavior, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, one of India’s leading private life insurers, has released its Bajaj Allianz Life Women Term Survey 2025, in collaboration with Pixis Global and Quals.AI.

The study uncovers that a majority of Indian women view term insurance as a comprehensive financial solution – particularly to secure their child’s future amid rising uncertainties.

Covering more than 1,000 salaried and self-employed women across metro, tier 1, and tier 2 cities, the Bajaj Allianz Life Women Term Survey 2025 finds that:

  • 73% of mothers are worried about funding their child’s education in their absence
  • 61% consider ensuring their child’s financial stability during unforeseen events as their top priority
  • 46% of women identified term insurance as the preferred investment to safeguard their child’s future

Further, 87% of respondents found Critical Illness (CI) cover a crucial feature in term plans, while 93% of mothers favored a Child Income Security feature. Women also expressed strong interest in built-in Health Management Services (HMS), flexible term benefits, and maturity options that evolve with life stages.
