Mumbai: In a significant move to strengthen management accounting education in India, NSE Academy Limited (NAL), the education arm of the National Stock Exchange of India, has partnered with the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA®), USA, one of the world’s most respected organizations for management accounting professionals.
This partnership is set to bring globally recognized certifications and specialized training to Indian professionals, students, and institutions through an extensive upskilling ecosystem.
NSE Academy IMA Collaboration
The collaboration aims to bolster workforce readiness in the finance and accounting sector by introducing career-aligned, international certifications and professional education. Under the initiative, NSE Academy and IMA will jointly offer pathway programs and certifications such as:
- FMAA (Financial and Managerial Accounting Associate)
- CSCA (Certified in Strategy and Competitive Analysis)
- IMA Sustainability Business Practices Certificate
These programs will be made available through the NSE Knowledge Hub, providing learners access to IMA Continuing Professional Education (CPE) courses focused on Data Practices, Cybersecurity, and Analytics—domains critical to the evolving role of finance professionals.
