New Delhi: In a remarkable display of India’s growing influence in the global tech ecosystem, 25 high-potential STPI-nurtured startups participated in a strategic immersion program in Silicon Valley, USA, as part of the Leap Ahead Global Connect initiative led by the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI).

The visit culminated in a proud achievement: 13 of these STPI-nurtured startups were honoured with the prestigious TiE50 Awards at TiEcon 2025 for innovation in emerging technologies.

The Leap Ahead Global Connect program – centered on mentorship, funding access, and international market entry – aims to connect Indian startups with global opportunities.

The Silicon Valley experience included exclusive sessions such as Fundraising Day and a Startup Bootcamp, enabling direct interactions with leading U.S. venture capitalists, domain experts, and tech ecosystem enablers.

The startups also participated in TiEcon 2025, one of the world’s largest gatherings of entrepreneurs and investors. Industry stalwarts such as Satya Nadella (CEO, Microsoft), Shantanu Narayen (CEO, Adobe), Lip-Bu Tan (CEO, Intel Corporation), and Vasu Jakkal (CVP, Microsoft) shared key insights on digital transformation, global startup trends, and tech-driven growth.
