Pune: Amanora YESS Foundation has constructed a state-of-the-art sports complex and a modern indoor auditorium at the Suryodaya Pardhi Samaj Tribal Ashram School in Khamgaon, Buldhana district, as part of its continued commitment to social responsibility.
The newly developed sports infrastructure will be inaugurated by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat on August 8, 2026.
The announcement was made by Aniruddha Deshpande, Chairman of Amanora YESS Foundation and City Group, during a press conference. Vivek Kulkarni was also present on the occasion.
The Suryodaya Pardhi Samaj Tribal Ashram School was established by Bhayyuji Maharaj. In 2014, Amanora YESS Foundation assumed responsibility for supporting the institution and has since undertaken several initiatives for the welfare and development of its students.
To encourage sporting talent among students, Amanora YESS Foundation has developed separate courts for volleyball, handball and basketball, along with a fully equipped indoor auditorium within the school campus.
The new sports complex aims to provide students with modern facilities for physical education and overall development.
Located in Khamgaon, the residential tribal school currently provides education to nearly 750 students belonging to the Pardhi community.
Along with quality education, the institution also focuses on equipping students with employment-oriented skills. Vocational training courses in electrician, plumbing, motor mechanic, and beauty & wellness have been introduced to improve career opportunities for students.

As part of Amanora YESS Foundation’s ‘Swayamsiddha’ initiative, girl students manufacture attractive cloth bags using old sarees. Each student receives an honorarium of ₹25 for every bag produced.
Through this initiative, ₹10,000 has been deposited into the bank account of each participating girl student. According to Aniruddha Deshpande, this amount will be formally handed over to the students by Dr. Mohan Bhagwat during the inauguration ceremony on August 8.
Over the years, Amanora YESS Foundation has been implementing several social and educational initiatives benefiting underserved communities.
Besides offering scholarships to deserving girl students from rural areas, the foundation also provides financial assistance for higher education.
Sharing the impact of these scholarship initiatives, Aniruddha Deshpande said that the support has enabled the daughter of an auto-rickshaw driver to become a doctor, the daughter of an Anganwadi worker to become an IT engineer, and the daughter of a vegetable vendor to become a government officer.
Continuing its efforts in the education sector, Amanora YESS Foundation has also awarded the Meera Deshpande Scholarship worth ₹11 lakh to 40 nursing students.
In addition, for the past eight years, the foundation has been honouring women support staff working at Sassoon Hospital through the Meera Deshpande Seva Samman Puraskar, recognising their dedicated service.
The inauguration of the newly constructed sports complex and indoor auditorium at the Suryodaya Pardhi Samaj Tribal Ashram School is scheduled to take place on August 8, 2026, in the presence of RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat.
