Pune: Apollo Hospitals Pune celebrated Mother’s Day with warmth, gratitude, and inspiration through a special event that marked the launch of Apollo Nest – Journey to Motherhood, a comprehensive antenatal care initiative designed to support mothers-to-be through every stage of pregnancy and early motherhood.
The launch of Apollo Nest brought together mothers from across Pune for an evening dedicated to celebrating motherhood while spreading awareness about maternal healthcare and wellness.
The event highlighted the hospital’s commitment to compassionate and holistic healthcare services for women and families.
The celebration was attended by several distinguished guests who have inspired society through their achievements and dedication. Among them was Dr. Sunita Pote, a medical professional and Director of Mira Nursing Home, recognized for her contribution to healthcare and community welfare.
Also present was Shila Daware, India’s first lady auto driver, who has been honored with the Rashtrapati Puraskar and featured in the Limca Book of Records for her achievements and inspiring journey in women empowerment.

Seema Chandekar, mother of renowned actor Siddharth Chandekar, was also felicitated during the event for representing the strength, values, and nurturing spirit of motherhood.

A major highlight of the celebration was the official inauguration of Apollo Nest – Journey to Motherhood: Guiding You Through Every Kick and Cuddle, a specially curated ANC (Antenatal Care) program developed to provide end-to-end support for expecting mothers.
The Apollo Nest initiative was unveiled on stage in the presence of healthcare experts, dignitaries, mothers, and members of the Apollo team. The program has been designed to offer holistic support, expert medical guidance, and emotional care throughout pregnancy and the early stages of motherhood.
