Moving Tech Innovations

AMSTERDAM: Moving Tech Innovations (MTI), operator of the world’s largest open infrastructure for shared mobility, has announced the acquisition of Netherlands-based Automicle Holding BV, marking Moving Tech Innovations’ formal entry into the European market.

Through this strategic move, Moving Tech Innovations aims to expand its zero-commission, open mobility platforms across Europe.

Moving Tech Innovations powers leading open mobility platforms such as Namma Yatri, Bharat Taxi, and Chennai One.

With the acquisition of Automicle, Moving Tech Innovations will collaborate to accelerate the adoption of locally governed and open mobility systems across European cities.

Across Europe, urban centres are rethinking how mobility systems are designed and governed, with a growing focus on openness, sustainability, multimodal integration, and long-term data sovereignty.

In this evolving landscape, Moving Tech Innovations sees an opportunity to deliver affordable and inclusive mobility solutions aligned with regional priorities.

Moving Tech Innovations: Advanced Deployment Discussions Currently Underway

Moving Tech Innovations brings to Europe a population-scale mobility technology stack that has facilitated over 150 million trips and enabled more than €250 million in driver earnings without commissions.

Designed as digital public infrastructure, the Moving Tech Innovations platform offers end-to-end, customisable solutions spanning ride-hailing, micro-mobility, parking, integrated public transport, and assisted mobility services such as ambulances and senior transport.

The platform by MTI is fully compliant with GDPR, data localisation mandates, and local ownership requirements, enabling European cities to deploy scalable and cost-effective mobility systems with regulatory confidence.

Jef Heyse and Mohit Mishra, Co-founders of Automicle, said: “This is a significant step for Automicle and for European mobility. By combining our European expertise with MTI’s proven infrastructure, we are accelerating the deployment of locally governed systems that deliver measurable impact at scale, while staying aligned with European values and governance.”

Magizhan and Shan MS, Co-founders of Moving Tech Innovations, added: “Europe and India are converging around a shared belief – that digital infrastructure works best when it is open, accountable, and built in partnership with cities and communities. Together, we can help build systems that are reliable, affordable, and designed for the long term.”

Both organisations operate on open protocols, including Beckn Protocol and TOMP API standards, which enable seamless integration across multiple mobility operators and services while preventing vendor lock-in.

MTI confirmed that advanced deployment discussions are currently underway in several European countries, as cities explore future-ready mobility systems built on open standards, local ownership, and long-term sustainability.
