turnkey workspace solutions

Mumbai: The projects business of Interio by Godrej is set to cross ₹1,100 crore in revenue in FY26, driven by rising demand for turnkey workspace solutions across banking, corporate, infrastructure, and institutional sectors.

Strengthening its position in the market for turnkey workspace solutions, the company recently completed a large-scale workspace project for State Bank of India (SBI) at Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai.

As part of the project, Interio delivered turnkey workspace solutions for SBI’s Local Head Office, completing a comprehensive interior fit-out covering 75,000 sq. ft. across four floors.

The workspace includes India’s largest dealing room, specifically designed to support the bank’s treasury and investment operations.

The project demonstrates the company’s capabilities in executing complex turnkey workspace solutions within tight timelines while meeting operational requirements of large financial institutions.

Large-Scale Workspace Design and Execution

The project’s comprehensive execution included specialized ceiling systems, modular partitions, modular furniture, AV works, and fire-rated storage systems.

Through resource optimisation, process improvements, and a dedicated professional team, Interio successfully delivered the project despite the demanding scope and timelines.

The assignment highlights the growing need for turnkey workspace solutions in the financial sector as banks modernize their infrastructure to support increasingly complex operations.

Strategic Growth and Expansion Plans

Looking ahead, Interio is pursuing a sustainable vision of achieving ₹1,500 crore in revenue in the coming financial year. The projects business is accelerating its growth by strengthening partnerships across the country and digitally enabling offline workflows to improve efficiency in delivering turnkey workspace solutions.

To address industry gaps, the company has also launched initiatives such as ProGenXT, a digital way of working enabled by AI, designed to enhance transparency and seamless communication among project stakeholders involved in large turnkey workspace solutions.

Swapneel Nagarkar, EVP & Business Head, Interio by Godrej, said: “The Indian banking industry has seen robust growth, driven by strong economic expansion, rising disposable incomes, growing consumerism, and easier credit access. As India’s banking sector continues to modernize its infrastructure to support increasingly sophisticated financial operations, our role is to create workspaces that combine operational efficiency with the scale and security requirements of critical financial functions.

The project exemplifies our ability to execute comprehensive turnkey solutions under tight timelines in budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality. We look forward to partnering with more financial institutions to create workplaces that support India’s growing economic ambitions.”

Turnkey Workspace Solutions: Technology-Driven Project Delivery

The company leveraged its long-standing partnerships and rate contracts with OEMs to ensure faster procurement of long-lead items while maintaining project budgets.

Project planning and monitoring were carried out using the company’s in-house developed project planning software ‘Prostream’, built on the Critical Chain Path Method (CCPM) principle. The system enabled complete project stage visibility for stakeholders involved in delivering large turnkey workspace solutions.

Additionally, site operations benefited from Godrej-developed safety and quality applications, enabling faster turnaround times during execution.

The project management processes were based on the Theory of Constraints (TOC) principle, helping the team ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery of the project.
