Pune: The Cyber Security and Cyber Crime Investigation Course was inaugurated in Pune under the joint initiative of Yashasvi Skills Limited, Digital Task Force, and Think Spark Consultancy.
The event marked the formal launch of the Cyber Security and Cyber Crime Investigation Course aimed at equipping students with industry-relevant skills in the rapidly expanding domain of cybersecurity.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Dr Deepak Shikarpur said that cybersecurity is a rapidly growing and vast field, creating significant employment opportunities for the younger generation.
Addressing students at Yashasvi Bhavan in Chinchwad, he emphasized that while pursuing graduation, students should not rely solely on academic degrees but should simultaneously enroll in skill-based programs such as the Cyber Security and Cyber Crime Investigation Course to build a bright career.
Dr Shikarpur further stated that students should pursue certification courses in cyber crime investigation and digital forensics to remain competitive and updated in today’s fast-evolving digital landscape.
He also urged the youth to learn the Japanese language to benefit from the large number of opportunities available for Indian professionals in Japan.

During the program, retired Assistant Commissioner of Police Bhanupratap Barge guided students and highlighted that while cyber crimes are increasing at an alarming rate, there is a shortage of skilled manpower with adequate knowledge of cybersecurity to investigate such crimes.
He said that developing competent professionals with in-depth expertise through initiatives like the Cyber Security and Cyber Crime Investigation Course is the need of the hour.
Providing real-life examples, Barge explained the severity and expanding scope of cyber crimes and urged students to prepare themselves as “cyber warriors” through specialized training programs.
He appealed to the younger generation to equip themselves through structured learning in cybersecurity to effectively combat digital threats.
In his introductory remarks, Dr Shivaji Mundhe from the International Institute of Management Science under Yashasvi Education Society elaborated on the institution’s vision behind launching the Cyber Security and Cyber Crime Investigation Course.
He emphasized the importance of such programs in preparing students for emerging career opportunities in cybersecurity and digital forensics.

Cyber Security and Cyber Crime Investigation Course: Structure and Learning Outcomes
Later in the event, Chief Training Officer Rajesh Nagare from Yashasvi Institution presented a detailed overview of the Cyber Security and Cyber Crime Investigation Course through a presentation, outlining its structure and learning outcomes.
Founder of Digital Task Force, Dr Rohan Nyayadhish, along with his team, demonstrated how mobile phones can be easily hacked using QR codes. Through a live demonstration, they advised students to safeguard their digital identities and exercise caution while sharing personal information on public social media platforms.
The program was attended by Neha Shinde, Head of Think Spark Consultancy; Smita Dhumal, Director of Yashasvi Institution; office bearers of Digital Task Force; faculty members; and a large number of students.
