ITC Infotech Melbourne Digital and AI Engineering Hub

Bengaluru: ITC Infotech has established its Asia-Pacific headquarters and Digital & AI Engineering Hub in Melbourne, reinforcing its long-term commitment to Australia and the region.

The ITC Infotech Melbourne Digital and AI Engineering Hub was officially inaugurated by Paul Hamer, State Member for Box Hill and Parliamentary Secretary for Jobs, Victorian Legislative Assembly, alongside S Sivakumar, Group Head – Agri & IT at ITC Limited and Vice Chairman of ITC Infotech.

The facility will function as the company’s regional headquarters and flagship center for digital and AI-led engineering interventions.

The ITC Infotech Melbourne Digital and AI Engineering Hub aims to help enterprises accelerate transformation through capabilities spanning product and digital engineering, cloud, data and AI, and platform-based solutions.

These services will support industries including consumer-packaged goods, retail, manufacturing, banking and financial services, and other enterprise sectors across the Asia-Pacific region.

ITC Infotech Melbourne Digital and AI Engineering Hub: Agri-Business is Key Focus

A key focus of the ITC Infotech Melbourne Digital and AI Engineering Hub will be agri-business innovation, aligned with the state of Victoria and its $20+ billion agricultural economy, as well as Australia’s global leadership in agriculture.

ITC Infotech brings extensive expertise across the agricultural value chain, including the delivery of large-scale platforms for farmer engagement and AI-driven sourcing intelligence.

Australia continues to be a priority market for the company, and the ITC Infotech Melbourne Digital and AI Engineering Hub is expected to strengthen customer proximity, enable co-creation with clients, and enhance cross-border collaboration across the Asia-Pacific region.

The operations under the ITC Infotech Melbourne Digital and AI Engineering Hub are expected to grow steadily, with plans to hire approximately 150 skilled professionals over the next three years.

This expansion will support local job creation and contribute to the development of advanced digital, AI, and agri-tech capabilities in Victoria.

Commenting on the launch, Danny Pearson, Minister for Economic Growth and Jobs, said: “The Melbourne Asia-Pacific headquarters will serve as Digital and AI Engineering Hub for the region, with a clear focus on agriculture and sustainability.

The facility will create up to 150 high-skilled technology jobs over the next three years and deliver digital engineering, data, AI, and cloud services to Australian enterprises. It will act as a collaboration platform for our customers and partners and use ITC Infotech’s large-scale agri and sustainability platforms to co-create, validate, and scale solutions for climate-smart and sustainable agriculture.”
