New Delhi: The Quality Assurance Conclave will be held at Manekshaw Auditorium, New Delhi, on February 13, 2026, bringing together senior officials from the Ministry of Defence, Indian Navy, Quality Assurance agencies, shipyards, defence PSUs, and leading industry partners to deliberate on the future of quality assurance in naval and defence manufacturing.

Organized around the theme “Traceability, Speed and Trust – Leveraging Technology for Smarter Quality Assurance,” the Quality Assurance Conclave aims to highlight how digital technologies can strengthen quality assurance systems across defence manufacturing ecosystems.

The Quality Assurance Conclave will focus on the growing importance of digital integration in quality assurance processes.

Quality Assurance Conclave: Technology-Enabled QA Ecosystem for Defence Manufacturing

Discussions will address improving traceability across the manufacturing chain, accelerating approvals and certifications, and building long-term trust among stakeholders in the defence production ecosystem.

The conclave will serve as a platform for policymakers, practitioners, and industry leaders to exchange best practices and outline a roadmap for a modern, technology-enabled QA framework in naval and defence manufacturing.

Technical Sessions to Focus on Digital QA and Industry Collaboration

The quality assurance conclave will feature technical sessions and panel discussions on key topics, including:

  • Digital QA for Shipbuilding – Traceability, Speed and Trust
  • QA Policy Compliance and Industry Collaborations
  • QA in Naval Shipbuilding and Replenishment Orders for Spares

These discussions will address challenges and opportunities related to shipbuilding, spares provisioning, policy compliance, and collaborative quality assurance frameworks in defence manufacturing.

Quality Assurance Conclave: Key Initiatives to be Launched

Several initiatives will be introduced during the event, including:

  • Release of Indian Naval & Marine Industry – A Capability Catalogue to strengthen industry engagement and information sharing
  • Promulgation of Joint Service Guidelines on Common Information Model for integrated data management of combat systems and sensors
  • Conferment of Green Channel Status and Self-Certification to eligible industry partners in recognition of proven quality performance

These initiatives aim to improve coordination between defence stakeholders and industry partners while enhancing efficiency and transparency in quality assurance processes.
