Pune: Bentley Systems, the infrastructure engineering software company, has expanded its academic footprint in Pune by signing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), Pune, and COEP Technological University.

The collaborations are aimed at advancing digital engineering education and research in India through structured academic-industry engagement.

Bentley Systems Establishes Centres for Infrastructure Innovation

As part of the partnerships, Bentley Systems will establish a Centre for Infrastructure Innovation at each campus.

These centres will focus on advanced education and applied research in sustainable infrastructure design, digital construction, and asset lifecycle management, leveraging AI-powered and digital twin technologies.

Students and faculty members will gain hands-on exposure to Bentley’s widely used infrastructure engineering software, including MicroStation, OpenRoads, and OpenFlows.
