SAEL Industries IPO: Company Files DRHP with SEBI to Raise INR 4,575 Crore

Mumbai: SAEL Industries Limited, one of India’s top five vertically integrated renewable energy independent power producers (IPPs), has filed its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for its proposed Initial Public Offering. The SAEL Industries IPO aims to raise up to ₹4,575 crore.

SAEL Industries IPO Details and Structure

The SAEL Industries IPO comprises a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating up to ₹3,750 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) by existing shareholders amounting to ₹825 crore. Each equity share will have a face value of ₹5.

The equity shares are proposed to be listed on both the BSE Limited (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE), following necessary approvals.

The issue is being managed by ICICI Securities Limited, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, JM Financial Limited, and Ambit Private Limited, who are acting as the Book Running Lead Managers (BRLMs).

According to a CRISIL Report, SAEL Industries is among the top five renewable energy IPPs in India, featuring in-house solar module manufacturing capabilities.

The company is also a pioneer and the largest operator in the agricultural waste-to-energy (AgWTE) segment based on operational capacity as of June 30, 2025.

SAEL Industries follows an integrated in-house model to execute renewable energy projects across their full lifecycle – from bidding, development, and construction to operation and maintenance. The company’s utility-scale solar and AgWTE projects generate energy for central government entities, state DISCOMs, and private sector clients.
