Rocket Journal: Rocket Health Launches AI Voice Journal for Mental Wellness

Rocket Journal

Bengaluru: Mental health startup Rocket Health has launched the AI-powered voice journaling app, Rocket Journal, designed to help users reflect, vent, and track emotions through a secure and judgment-free space.

The newly launched Rocket Journal app enables users to interact with an empathetic AI that listens without bias, provides guided prompts, and identifies mood patterns.

Its key features include “Rant Mode” for unfiltered expression and structured check-ins for regular self-reflection. The app quickly gained traction, securing a place in India’s Top 10 Health & Fitness apps on iOS within two days of launch.

According to Dr Ritika Sinha, COO and Co-founder of Rocket Health, the app was developed in collaboration with the company’s team of psychologists to make journaling effortless through a voice-first interface. She emphasized that Rocket Journal is suitable both for individuals in therapy and those new to the practice of journaling.

Rocket Health’s wider platform integrates therapy, psychiatry, diagnostics, and cloud pharmacy services. Since its inception in 2021, the company has delivered over 200,000 mental health sessions with the support of more than 100 psychologists, catering to users across Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities.

CEO and Co-founder Abhineet Kumar highlighted that the Rocket Journal app aligns with the company’s vision of creating AI-first consumer products that redefine healthcare and wellness. He described it as a step towards building a global mental wellness product developed in India.

India’s severe shortage of mental health professionals – one psychiatrist per 100,000 people, compared to the global average of three – has created demand for scalable digital solutions. Rocket Health underlines that Rocket Journal is not a substitute for therapy but a consistent and accessible companion that helps individuals build awareness and resilience.

Priyanka Sharma, Chief of Staff – New Initiatives & Business Strategy, noted that psychology-based prompts within the app assist users in processing racing thoughts, reducing stress, and enhancing self-understanding in just five minutes daily.

Rocket Journal is currently available on the iOS App Store. An Android release and Apple Watch integration are scheduled for 2026.
