Bodycam

Mumbai: Nazara Technologies Limited has announced the upcoming launch of the globally popular PC game Bodycam within Fortnite.

This marks the first-ever adaptation of the game into the Fortnite ecosystem, introducing its hyper-realistic tactical gameplay to millions of players worldwide.

Renowned for its photorealistic graphics and immersive first-person shooter mechanics on PC, the game has built a strong global fanbase among FPS enthusiasts.

With this new launch, Nazara is bringing Bodycam to Fortnite using the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN). The adaptation delivers upgraded visuals, optimized performance, and creative sandbox experiences tailored for Fortnite’s player base.

Bodycam Comes to Fortnite with UEFN Integration

The project has been developed in collaboration with top UEFN creator Virstate and backed by Reissad Studio, the original developers of Bodycam. The Fortnite island integrates high-stakes tactical combat with community-driven modes, offering a seamless gaming experience across console, PC, and mobile platforms.

Optimized with Unreal Engine 5.3, the Bodycam Fortnite island features advanced lighting, immersive sound design, and balanced multiplayer modes. Players will have access to two core multiplayer options at launch – Gun Game and Team Deathmatch – with creator-submitted maps scheduled for future updates.

Nitish Mittersain, CEO of Nazara Technologies, said: “This is a landmark moment not just for Bodycam, but for the future of creator-led gaming and also a first launch for Nazara in Fortnite. Thanks to UEFN, Fortnite is rapidly becoming the go-to hub where creators, brands, and gamers converge. We are proud to bring a premium PC franchise like Bodycam to the Fortnite ecosystem.”

The founders of Virstate, Zakaria and Mahdi, added that the project showcases UEFN’s potential and could encourage other major IPs to join the platform. Luca and Leo, creators at Reissad Studio, emphasized their vision of bringing Bodycam’s realism to millions of Fortnite players worldwide for free.

This launch is part of Nazara’s larger strategy to pioneer next-generation global game publishing by leveraging platforms like Fortnite and other emerging ecosystems.

This is an independently created Fortnite island and is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Epic Games, Inc.
